Racord II is a twisted retraction cord made of 100% absorbent cotton, impregnated with racemic epinephrine hydrochloride and zinc phenolsulfonate for combined vasoconstrictor and astringent action. It is designed to provide full exposure of the margin before impression taking, adapting easily to the sulcus and suitable for all retraction techniques. Each pack contains 72 inches of cord, specially twisted for added thickness to achieve optimal retraction without causing tissue rigidity.
