GlasIonomer Base Cement is a radiopaque, high-compressive-strength (147 MPa) glass ionomer base cement formulated for dentin replacement and as a supportive, protective base under amalgam, composite, and porcelain restorations. It is biocompatible, chemically bonds to dentin and enamel, and offers high fluoride release to reduce the occurrence of secondary caries. The white powder refill comes in a 15 g bottle and features low solubility with easy mixing and handling; also suitable for pediatric temporary cusp replacement.
