EXA Advanced VPS Monophase Impression Material from GC America is a hydrophilic vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) impression material designed for use as both tray and wash material in a single-viscosity technique. The normal-set formulation offers a working time of under 2 minutes and a set time of approximately 4 minutes, with high tear strength, excellent elastic recovery, and thixotropic properties that resist slumping. It is highly hydrophilic, flows uniformly to capture fine detail without voids, and is dimensionally stable so models can be poured up to two weeks after the impression is taken. Each refill package contains two 48 mL cartridges and six mixing tips.
