SS White Standard Operative Carbide Burs are friction grip (FG) rotary instruments made from fine-grain tungsten carbide for sharp, consistent cutting and long service life. The #1557 bur features a straight fissure, round-end, cross-cut (8-flute) head measuring 1.0 mm in diameter and 3.8 mm in length, suitable for cavity preparation, restoration, trimming and finishing of dental materials. Each bur has a surgical-grade stainless steel shank that resists corrosion during sterilization, and they are supplied 10 per pack (ISO 500 314 139 008 010).
