SS White Standard Operatory Carbide Bur #171L features a long tapered flat-end plain fissure head with a 1.2 mm diameter and 5.0 mm length, ideal for inlay preparations, cavity wall refinement, and trimming cast gold, ceramic, or composite restorations. Made from high-grade tungsten carbide and steel through a specialized heat-treatment and welding process, it delivers maximum strength, durability, and efficient cutting with minimal heat and pressure. The 19 mm Friction Grip (FG) shank fits high-speed handpieces, and the bur is autoclavable at 121°C/250°F for 20 minutes.
