MTA Angelus White is a mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) reparative cement from Angelus for endodontic procedures including root canal and furcation perforation repair, retrograde surgery, internal resorption, pulp capping, apexification, and apicectomy. It releases calcium ions, is bactericidal and highly alkaline, biocompatible with low inflammatory response, more radiopaque than dentin and bone, and does not disintegrate, promoting formation of mineralized tissue and a dentin bridge. The 5 g package contains five 1 g vials of white cement, a 3 mL bottle of distilled water, and a measuring scoop, providing approximately 35 doses with a final setting time of about 15 minutes.
