Foundation is a collagen-based bone filling and augmentation material designed for use after tooth extraction to support implants, bridges, and dentures. The bullet-shaped medium pellets (15mm x 25mm) are placed into the extraction socket, where surrounding cells and capillaries infiltrate the material as it is replaced by new augmented bone, allowing implant placement as early as 8-12 weeks. The material can be trimmed or shaped for a better fit and is supplied 5 per box.
