Expasyl Gingival Retraction Paste is a viscous, rigid paste alternative to traditional retraction cord for procedures requiring gingival retraction, including impressions, restoration seating, rubber dam fitting, and cavity restoration. The paste is extruded directly into the sulcus, where it holds its rigidity to open the sulcus with minimal pressure, reducing the risk of damaging the epithelial attachment while leaving the field dry and ready for impression taking, cementation, or digital scanning. It contains 15% aluminum chloride for hemostatic and astringent action, and the Intro Kit includes one applicator gun, six 1 g capsules of unflavored paste, and twelve curved applicator tips.
