Prima-Rock is a violet ISO Type 4 high-strength die stone from Whip Mix with the highest compressive strength of any Whip Mix die material. Vacuum spatulation produces a smooth, free-flowing mix that is compatible with all impression materials, and upon setting it develops a dense surface with superior hardness. It offers a working time of 6-8 minutes, an initial setting time of 12 minutes, a setting expansion of 0.13%, and compressive strengths of 8,000 psi (55 MPa) wet at 1 hour and 17,000 psi (117 MPa) dry at 48 hours.
