Whip Mix Orthodontic Plaster is an ISO Type 2 super-white dental plaster developed specifically for orthodontic use, harder and whiter than ordinary plaster with a long working time and easy trimming. Mixed under vacuum it produces an accurate, dense cast; finished models can be treated with Model Glow soap for a glossy surface. Typical properties: 37 mL water per 100 g powder, 7-9 minute working time, 14 minute setting time, 0.20% setting expansion, and compressive strength of 3,500 psi wet (1 hour) and 6,500 psi dry (48 hours). Supplied as a 33 lb (15 kg) carton, white only, made in USA.
