GingiTrac MiniMix is a medium-viscosity, vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) gingival retraction paste containing 15% ammonium aluminum sulfate (alum) that gently displaces the gingiva from the tooth while controlling bleeding and oozing. The 1:1 unit-dose MiniMix system is patient-friendly and easier to express than automix guns with minimal waste. When used with GingiCap™ compression caps, the mechanical bite pressure combined with the astringent action works to control bleeding and seepage in minutes, removes cleanly in one piece without rinsing, and serves as a preview of the final impression.
