LOOK™ PolySyn™ synthetic absorbable sutures are braided polyglycolic acid (PGA) sutures with a proprietary low-friction coating that reduces tissue drag and ensures secure closure through the critical wound healing period. They retain approximately 50% of their initial strength at two weeks and 20% at three weeks, with mass absorption essentially complete between 50 and 90 days. Supplied undyed (clear) with a C-3 precision reverse cutting needle, 3/8 circle, 13mm, on an 18-inch strand, 12 per pack; commonly used for periodontal flap, skin closure, OB/Gyn, urology, and gastrointestinal procedures.
