Look Plain Gut Absorbable Sutures are sterile, monofilament sutures intended for closing wounds and approximating or ligating soft tissues. Each 18" (45 cm) strand is size 5-0 and features a C3 precision reverse cutting needle (13 mm, 3/8 circle) with a triangular point honed for sharp, smooth passage through tissue. The sutures are precision polished to a uniform diameter for secure knotting and have a resorption rate of approximately 5 to 7 days. Supplied as 12 sutures per pack, reference 596B.
