Under biting pressure, the hollow cotton caps guide the paste into the sulcus while absorbing blood and crevicular fluid, providing even compression and tissue displacement for clearer access to the preparation margin before impression taking or digital scanning. Each refill pack contains 120 Size #1 (Small) caps; the caps contain no active hemostatic ingredient and serve a mechanical, absorbent role alongside the retraction material.
