BioViva Hemostatic Gauze Dressing is an individually packaged, sterile, soluble, cellulose-based, bacteriostatic hemostatic dressing made from oxidized, regenerated cellulose derived from plants. Upon contact with blood or fluid, it rapidly transforms into a viscous gel that seals capillary ends, fills wound voids, and activates the clotting system to help control bleeding at extraction sites and during surgical procedures. Each dressing measures 0.75" x 0.75" (1.9 x 1.9 cm) and is supplied 20 per box.
