Etch-Rite is a 38% phosphoric acid dental etching gel formulated for the acid-etch step of total-etch and selective-etch adhesive bonding protocols, including composite restorations, porcelain and ceramic bonding, and orthodontic bracket bonding. Its thixotropic soft-gel formulation stays where placed without running onto exposed tissue, dispenses precisely through small-gauge pre-bent applicator tips, and washes off completely without residue. Recommended etch times are approximately 15 seconds for dentin and 20 seconds for enamel. The bulk pack contains 24 x 1.2 mL syringes; applicator tips are not included.
