It contains Steelgard agents that protect instruments from minerals in water that cause buildup, spotting, and corrosion, and it can also be used as an evacuation system cleaner. The 1-gallon bottle of concentrate dilutes at 1:128 (1 oz per gallon) to make up to 128 gallons of solution; the formula is biodegradable and phosphate-free.
