DiaGloss composite polishers are diamond-impregnated rotary instruments designed for the final high-shine polishing of cured composite restorations. The white polisher contains a special mixture of ultrafine and superfine diamond grit bonded in natural rubber (caoutchouc), which absorbs heat to prevent overheating and deformation of the restoration. They are used with a right angle (RA) latch handpiece at approximately 10,000-15,000 RPM, require no polishing paste or water, and are autoclavable.
