CeraGlaze Spiral Polishers are diamond-impregnated ceramic polishing instruments used to restore a natural high shine to porcelain, zirconia, lithium-disilicate, aluminum-oxide, feldspar porcelain, and other ceramics without the need for re-firing. The blue spiral polisher is step one of the two-step system, used for surface smoothing, scratch removal, and refining adjusted ceramic surfaces before the yellow high-lustre polishing step. The natural caoutchouc bonding absorbs heat to help prevent damage to zirconia and other high-performance ceramics, and the flexible spiral profile adapts to occlusal, buccal, lingual, and interproximal anatomy. Recommended operating speed is 6,000 rpm with coolant at 50 L/min directed between the polisher and the restoration.
