Hu-Friedy Perma Sharp Chromic Gut Sutures are absorbable monofilament sutures designed for reliable soft tissue closure in dental surgical procedures. Each suture is 18 inches long with a 4-0 chromic gut strand attached to a C-17 reverse cutting needle (12 mm, 3/8 circle) made from a proprietary stainless steel alloy for superior strength and less breakage. Chromic gut loses strength in 10-14 days and is fully absorbed in 60-90 days. The laser-drilled needle design reduces tissue disruption and requires up to 20% less force to penetrate tissue, providing smooth passage and precise needle placement. Supplied 12 per box.
