Alpen Multilayer Diamond Instruments are friction-grip (FG) burs with multilayered, diamond-impregnated heads that deliver smooth, consistent, long-lasting cutting performance. The color-coded fine red football-shaped head (1.4 mm, #390) stays sharp in regular use because new diamond particles replace worn fragments, and the durable Swiss Gold shank fits high-speed handpieces. Supplied 5 per pack; note this item is discontinued and has been replaced by 987-0442AA / COL 60031817.
