The Hu-Friedy Mini-Five Gracey Curette 12/13 is a double-ended periodontal instrument with a #9 EverEdge 2.0 stainless steel handle, designed for mesial and distal scaling in deep, narrow pockets and furcations. Its terminal shank is elongated by 3 mm for access to periodontal pockets and root surfaces of 5 mm or more, while the blade is half the length of a standard Gracey and 10% thinner to ease gingival insertion and reduce tissue distention. EverEdge 2.0 technology uses an optimized heat-control process to maintain a harder, sharper edge that stays sharp longer.
