STEAMPlus Class 5 Sterilization Integrator Strips are chemical indicators that integrate time, temperature, and saturated steam to provide an immediate, easy-to-read pass/fail result for gravity, prevacuum, and flash steam sterilization cycles. When the moving-front dark bar enters the blue SAFE/PASS zone, sterilization criteria have been met, allowing immediate release of non-implant loads; the 4" x 0.75" strip is easily removed from packs. Tested to AAMI ST-60 and ISO 11140-1 performance requirements and FDA-cleared as equivalent in performance to a biological indicator, they do not replace routine biological monitoring.
