Nordent Classic Gracey Curette #17-18 is a double-ended hygiene instrument designed for scaling and root planing on distal surfaces of bicuspids and molars. The Mini Blade / Long Reach design combines a shorter, narrower blade (0.7 mm wide, 3 mm long) with a terminal shank extended 3 mm longer than standard, and a 1 mm terminal shank diameter, for improved access and a more comfortable hand and finger position. The blade face features a true-radius curve that conforms closely to tooth anatomy, making the curette easier to adapt, requiring fewer strokes, and reducing tissue trauma.
