CollaShield® Extend is a fully resorbable collagen membrane made from highly purified intact porcine dermis tissue, designed to provide the proper environment for osteogenesis during extraction socket preservation, guided bone regeneration (GBR), guided tissue regeneration (GTR), and other grafting procedures. Its cell-occlusive construction inhibits cellular ingrowth while offering high mechanical strength, and it resorbs completely in approximately 6-9 months. The membrane is non-latex and has a 3-year shelf life.
