Temrex Zinc Oxide Eugenol (ZOE) Temporary Cement is a rapid-setting, multi-purpose dental cement supplied as a white powder refill in a 100 g bottle. With 4100 psi compressive strength, it inhibits microbial growth and minimizes microleakage while sedating and healing injured pulp in crown and cavity preparations. It is indicated as a base under amalgam, silicate, and composite fillings and gold inlays, for temporary retention of crowns and bridges, and for temporary cementation of long-span permanent bridges on abutments with short or inadequate retention form.
