The Fissurotomy Micro Narrow Tapered Fissure (NTF) carbide bur is designed for ultraconservative exploration and treatment of pit and fissure caries, preserving healthy tooth structure and often eliminating the need for anesthesia. Its 0.33 mm tip is smaller and more conservative than a 1/4 round bur, cutting a smooth, minimally invasive groove in a single pass, while the fine carbide tip resists stripping better than thin diamonds. Each bur features a 0.7 mm head diameter and 2.5 mm head length, friction grip (FG) shank, and is autoclavable up to 121°C/250°F. Supplied 10 per pack, item #18014.
