The Nordent Glick #1 endodontic plugger/paddle is a double-ended hand instrument used to vertically condense gutta-percha within the root canal and to place materials with its paddle end. It is made from spring-tempered stainless steel wire for maximum durability, with flat working ends whose diameters are measured at 1 mm (D1) and 16 mm (D16) from the tip to correspond to canal size, and it features a DuraLite ColorRings handle (blue) with markings at 5 mm and 10 mm. The plugger can also be heated to sever excess gutta-percha.
