NexTemp is a eugenol-free, resin-based temporary cement for the cementation of provisional crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays. Its two-stage cure provides an initial gel-set that stabilizes the temporary and allows easy removal of excess, followed by a final set, delivering firm retention with easy removal. The formula contains potassium nitrate to reduce post-operative sensitivity, chlorhexidine as an antibacterial agent, and fluoride, and it is compatible with resin-based permanent cements. The standard kit includes one 5 mL automix syringe and 10 mixing tips in the opaque shade.
