Richmond All Gauze Sponges are made from 100% pure cotton with a 12-ply, loose-weave construction that provides excellent fluid retention and a slightly textured, cheesecloth-like surface for a secure grip. Each 2" x 2" sponge is non-sterile and features folded edges to resist fraying, making them suitable for wound cleaning, prepping, debridement, and general clinical tasks where a sterile barrier is not required. They are supplied in sleeves of 200 sponges, with 25 sleeves per case (5,000 sponges total), and are not made with natural rubber latex.
