MicroPrime G is a glutaraldehyde-based, HEMA (35%) dentin desensitizer from Danville Materials that eliminates post-operative sensitivity and discomfort from cervical erosions. It reliably plugs dentinal tubules and can be used alone on cervical erosions or as an addition to bonding procedures, and is compatible with total-etch and self-etch bonding systems, cements, and amalgam. The formula also contains fluoride and serves as an antimicrobial when used with self-etch adhesives without reducing bond strength.
