MetriCide 14-Day is a 2.6% buffered glutaraldehyde solution for high-level disinfection and sterilization of heat-sensitive, immersible medical instruments, including flexible and rigid endoscopes, anesthesia and respiratory therapy equipment, and delicate lensed instruments. It requires activation with the included activator powder before use and can be reused for up to 14 days provided the minimum effective concentration (MEC) remains within acceptable parameters. The surfactant-free formula is supplied as a single 1-gallon container.
