The Fissurotomy Carbide Bur is a friction grip (FG) short shank bur designed for early diagnosis and conservative preparation of hidden pits and fissure caries, often without the need for anesthesia. Its fine carbide tip measures 0.33 mm and does not strip easily like thin diamonds, creating an optimal cavity form for flowable composite restorations in just 3-5 minutes. The tapered fissure head has a 1.1 mm diameter and 2.5 mm length with 6 flutes, and the burs are autoclavable up to 121°C/250°F. Supplied in a bulk package of 100 burs.
