Snap-Stone is an exceptionally fast-setting ISO Type 4 dental stone with high early compressive strength, allowing separation of the cast from the impression in only 5 minutes. It is compatible with all impression materials and its light pink color suits a wide range of applications including bleaching trays, mouthguards, vacuum-formed splints, custom trays, orthodontic appliances, temporaries, denture repairs, study models, articulator cast mounting, and CAD-CAM restorations. Each pre-weighed 140 g envelope mixes at 23 mL water per 100 g powder, with a 60-90 second working time, 2-minute setting time, 0.15% setting expansion, and compressive strength of 6,000 psi wet (1 hour) and 14,000 psi dry (48 hours); hand mixing is recommended due to the fast set.
