Snap-Stone is an exceptionally fast-setting ISO Type 4 dental stone with high early compressive strength, allowing separation of the cast from the impression in only 5 minutes. It is compatible with all impression materials, and its light pink color suits a wide range of applications including bleaching trays, mouthguards, vacuum-formed splints, custom trays, orthodontic appliances, temporaries, denture repairs, study casts, articulator cast mounting, and CAD-CAM restorations. Physical properties: mixing ratio 23 mL water to 100 g powder, working time 60-90 seconds, setting time 2 minutes, setting expansion 0.15%, compressive strength 6,000 psi wet (1 hour) and 14,000 psi dry (48 hours); hand mixing is recommended.
