OptiDisc translucent finishing and polishing discs deliver a final polish comparable to natural dentition using a simplified three-grit system. The 9.6 mm extra-fine discs are made of durable polyester impregnated with aluminum oxide and feature a flexible, translucent backing for enhanced visibility and precise adaptation to convex, flat, and interproximal surfaces. The patented flush-mounted mandrel locks below the disc surface to protect restorations and adjacent teeth from scratching, and the color-coded rubber center (extra fine = yellow) allows quick grit identification. Suitable for composite, glass ionomer, amalgam, and precious/semiprecious metal restorations, and usable with or without water.
