OptiDisc translucent finishing and polishing discs are a color-coded, multi-grit system that brings composite, glass ionomer, amalgam, and metal restorations to a gloss comparable to natural dentition. The 12.6 mm coarse/medium discs are made of durable polyester impregnated with aluminum oxide and feature a flush-mounted mandrel that locks below the disc surface to protect the restoration and adjacent teeth from scratching. They adapt to anterior, posterior, and interproximal surfaces, can be used with or without water, and require no pumice or slurry.
