IRM is a polymer-reinforced zinc oxide-eugenol (ZOE) restorative material designed for intermediate restorations that can remain in place for up to one year. The eugenol component provides a sedative effect on hypersensitive tooth pulp and acts as a thermal insulator. It can also be used as a base under non-resin cements and restorative materials such as amalgams, inlays, and onlays. The material offers excellent abrasion resistance, good sealing properties, low solubility, and a compressive strength above 6300 psi. Each box contains 50 pre-dosed capsules (0.34 g each) for consistent, time-saving mixing.
