HealiAid® Collagen Plugs are fully resorbable, highly purified Type I bovine collagen wound dressings designed for optimal soft tissue healing and hemostasis in oral surgical applications. Purified using a patented, non-chemical process that preserves the native collagen structure, these plugs feature over 90% porosity and a 3D biomimetic structure to promote cell growth and rapid tissue integration. With exceptional water absorption (over 25X its weight) and a 6-8 week degradation profile, they are ideal for extraction socket graft coverage, hemostasis, third molar extractions, soft tissue repairs, and free gingival graft donor sites. Each plug is easy to handle, shape, and trim, and can be used as either a membrane or plug. Supplied sterile, individually packaged, and made in the USA.
