Hu-Friedy Perma Sharp PGA sutures are absorbable, violet-dyed braided polyglycolic acid sutures designed for reliable soft tissue closure in dental procedures. Each suture is 18 inches long with a size 4-0 thread and a C-6 reverse cutting needle (18.7 mm, 3/8 circle) made from a proprietary stainless steel alloy with a laser-drilled, finer-point geometry that requires less force to penetrate tissue and minimizes tissue disruption. PGA suture loses strength in 14-21 days and is fully absorbed in 50-90 days. Supplied 12 per box.
