Hu-Friedy Perma Sharp PGA (polyglycolic acid) absorbable braided sutures are designed for reliable soft tissue closure in dental surgical procedures. Each suture is 3-0 gauge, 18 inches long, violet-dyed and coated, and features a C-6 reverse-cutting needle (18.7 mm, 3/8 circle) with a finer point geometry that requires up to 20% less force to penetrate tissue. PGA suture material loses strength in 14-21 days and is fully absorbed in 50-90 days. Supplied 12 per box.
