Pulpdent Paste is the original premixed calcium hydroxide methylcellulose pulpal dressing, formulated with 40% calcium hydroxide at a pH greater than 12. It is indicated for direct pulp capping, pulpotomy, and pulpal curettage, and is used routinely as an intracanal dressing between office visits and for extended calcium hydroxide therapy. The kit includes one 3 mL syringe of radiopaque, non-setting paste and 24 sterile 18 gauge blunt dispenser needles.
