Look Chromic Gut Sutures are sterile, absorbable surgical sutures composed of purified connective tissue derived from the submucosal fibrous layer of sheep intestines or the serosal layer of beef. Each 4-0 suture is 18" (45 cm) long and is supplied with a C-26 reverse cutting needle (1/2 circle, 15 mm) for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, including oral and periodontal surgery. Chromic treatment extends resorption to approximately 10-15 days.
