Look Chromic Gut Sutures are sterile, absorbable surgical sutures made from purified collagen-based connective tissue derived from the submucosal fibrous layer of sheep intestines or the serosal layer of beef. Each 5-0 suture is 18" (45 cm) long and is supplied with a C17 reverse-cutting needle (12 mm, 3/8 circle) for general soft tissue approximation and ligation. The chromic treatment extends resorption to approximately 10-15 days, and each pack contains 12 sutures.
