Look Chromic Gut Sutures are sterile, absorbable surgical sutures composed of purified collagen-based connective tissue derived from the submucosal fibrous layer of sheep intestines or the serosal layer of beef. Each suture is 18" (45 cm) long, size 3-0, and is supplied on a C-6 reverse cutting needle with a 3/8 circle curvature and 19 mm needle length. Chromic gut sutures offer a resorption rate of approximately 10 to 15 days and are indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, including oral and periodontal surgery. Each pack contains 12 sutures.
