Knit-Pak+ is an impregnated gingival retraction cord made from unique knitted microfibers with very low moisture content, high durability, and excellent retention. It is impregnated with aluminum chloride hexahydrate (AlCl3·6H2O) at a controlled loading of 0.5 mg ± 0.1 mg per inch, combining mechanical tissue displacement with chemical hemostatic action. The knitted structure packs easily into the sulcus, resists fraying, cuts clean without entangling in burs, and is lint- and particle-free. Each container provides 100 inches (254 cm) of purple size #0 cord, with an integrated ceramic cutting system in the cap for convenient dispensing.
