Knit-Pak+ is an impregnated knitted gingival retraction cord made from unique interlocking microfibers that deliver superior absorbency, retention, and a fray-resistant pliable structure. It is impregnated with aluminum chloride hexahydrate (AlCl3·6H2O) at an exact dosage of 0.5 mg ± 0.1 mg per inch, is lint- and particle-free, and packs easily into the sulcus without popping out. The 100-inch (254 cm) cord is supplied in a single bottle with a stainless-steel-bladed cap that cuts the cord on closing to help prevent cross-contamination; size 1 is color-coded blue for easy identification.
