Hu-Friedy IMS Autoclave Monitor Tape is a strong 3/4" (19 mm) pre-printed indicator tape for steam sterilization, supplied as a single 60-yard (55 m) roll. The tape is imprinted with "Composite" for procedure coding and contains a Type 1 chemical indicator per ISO 11140-1:2014 that changes from non-visible to dark brown or black after processing, visually differentiating processed from non-processed cassettes. It is intended for use in steam sterilizers at 250°-285°F (121°-141°C), with a minimum of 10 minutes at 250°F/121°C required to effect the color change, and can be written on for labeling specific instrument setups.
