Perma Sharp® absorbable sutures are made from undyed braided polyglycolic acid (PGA) and are designed for efficient, reliable soft tissue closure in all types of dental procedures. Each suture features a C-1 premium reverse cutting needle with a 3/8 circle geometry and a finer point for smoother penetration and precise needle placement, while the laser-drilled, stainless steel alloy needle design reduces tissue disruption and breakage. PGA suture material loses strength in approximately 14-17 days and is fully absorbed in 90-120 days.
