Perma Sharp® absorbable sutures are made from undyed braided polyglycolic acid (PGA) and are designed for efficient, reliable soft tissue closure in dental procedures. Each suture features a C-19 reverse cutting needle with a 1/2 circle and 18.3 mm finer-point geometry for smoother penetration and precise placement, manufactured from a proprietary stainless steel alloy for added strength and less breakage. PGA retains strength for 14-17 days and is fully absorbed in 90-120 days. Supplied as 12 sutures per box.
